The Bannockburn Campus of Hyde Park Baptist Schools was established in 1981 at Bannockburn Baptist Church. It is a joint ministry of Bannockburn and Hyde Park Baptist Church. Bannockburn/Hyde Park Baptist Schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Accreditation Commission of the Texas Association of Baptist Schools (ACTABS.) The school is located in the Children's Building.
The curriculum includes daily Bible Study in addition to the basic academics, reading, spelling, grammar, mathematics, science, and social studies. Enrichment classes include music, physical education, computer, library and Spanish classes. All subjects are taught by born-again Christian teachers who are certified. Every class is taught with a Christian perspective.
The Family with a Family provides a well-balanced educational experience for children Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. Numerous enrichment activities are part of the curriculum.
The Parent-Teacher Fellowship is a very active organization that provides a great deal of support in classrooms and with school activities.
