Robert Turner is the Minister of Discipleship (Education).  He came to our church in August 2005 with his wife, Marcia, and their two children.  Robert attended Houston Baptist University where he received his degree in Mass Media and Speech.  Following God's leadership, he committed his life to the ministry in 1981.  He went to Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth after graduation and received his Masters in Religious Education.  He has served in churches in Arlington, TX, Tomball, TX, and then in Kerrville where he spent twelve years of his ministry.

Robert has a sincere passion for Christ and His transforming Word.  He is excited about all of the things he sees God doing at Bannockburn!
